Wenxiong Huang, Market-Analytics and Risk Expert, Joins PLEXOS Solutions LLC

SACRAMENTO, California – PLEXOS Solutions LLC announced today that Dr. Wenxiong Huang has joined the company as Vice President for Operations. Dr. Huang has 15+years experience developing advanced software models to forecast regional electricity prices, evaluate assets, perform portfolio optimization, and integrated resource planning.

Dr. Huang is a recognized expert in the areas of electric price formation and pricing, portfolio optimization employing stochastic techniques, and electric-utility operations and maintenance optimization. Before joining PLEXOS Solutions LLC, Wenxiong was the Product Manager for the Analytics solution in Global Energy Decisions. Wenxiong was previously employed with Energy Management Associates as a Senior Consultant. Dr. Huang has a PhD in System Engineering from Case Western Reserve University and a MBA from University of California at Davis.
