PLEXOS Solutions Announces “Principles of Locational Marginal Pricing Training Course”

PLEXOS Solutions recently developed an advanced course detailing the principles and underlying optimization techniques for Locational Marginal Pricing (LMP) markets including the CAISO. LMP is the basis for the CAISO Market Redesign and Technology Update (MRTU) which will replace a zonal market with a nodal one with over 1700 pricing points.
PLEXOS Solutions LMP Training Course is comprised of two, full-day sessions. PLEXOS software is used since it closely mimics the CAISO MRTU software. Topics covered in this class include:
