PLEXOS Solutions Announces Second “Principles of CAISO MRTU Training Course”

Responding to requests of those who took the initial course and now wish their colleagues to attend the Principles of CAISO MRTU Training Course, PLEXOS Solutions has scheduled a second class on Thursday and Friday, March 12-13.
PLEXOS Solutions recently developed an advanced course detailing the principles and underlying optimization techniques that will be employed by CAISO for their Market Redesign and Technology Upgrade (MRTU). The MRTU will replace a zonal market with a nodal one with over 3700 pricing points.
PLEXOS Solutions CAISO MRTU Training Course is one full-day and the following day until early to mid-afternoon. PLEXOS software is used since it closely mimics the CAISO MRTU software. Topics covered in this class include:

- Locational Marginal Price (LMP) calculation and decomposition
- Multiple Case Studies illustrating MRTU principles
