Eric Toolson, CEO
Mr. Toolson serves as the CEO of PLEXOS Solutions LLC. As CEO, he is
responsible for directing consulting assignments and the sales,
implementation, and support of the PLEXOS software in North America. Eric
has 25 years experience in the electric energy industry working for both
utilities and consulting companies in the areas of resource planning and
simulation software. Prior to his work at PLEXOS Solutions, Eric was an
independent consultant at the CAISO, a senior vice president at leading
software / consulting company, and manager of system planning at SMUD.
Eric has a BS in Civil Engineering from BYU and a MBA from University of
Washington.

Dr. Tao Guo, VP of Technical Support
Dr. Guo serves as a Vice President of PLEXOS Solutions LLC where he is
responsible for all technical services in N. America including software
implementation, training, user support, and consulting. Tao has a strong
theoretical and technical background and more than 22 years working
experience in power system planning, operation and control. Dr. Guo’s
expertise includes: (a) unit commitment and economic dispatch using
dynamic programming, Lagrangian Relaxation, and Mixed Integer
Programming; (b) multiple commodity co-optimization in deregulated energy
markets; and, (c) hydrothermal coordination, and (d) stochastic simulation
and Locational Market Price (LMP) forecasts. Tao has a Ph.D. in Power
System Planning, Operation and Control from the University of Michigan. He
received Master of Engineering in Power System Planning, Operation and
Control from Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Wuhan,China.

Dr. Wenxiong Huang, VP of Operations
Dr. Huang serves as the Vice President of Operations at PLEXOS Solutions
LLC. He is responsible for consulting services, marketing, and finance.
Wenxiong has more than 15 years of experience in developing
simulation/optimization software to solve complicated problems in electric
energy industry. Prior to join Plexos Solutions, Wenxiong was the Product
Manager for Analytics for a leading software company and was was
responsible for
software solutions that cover Market Analytics, Planning and Risk, and
Maintenance Scheduling. . Dr. Huang received MS and Ph.D. in System
engineering from Case Western Reserve University in 1990 and 1992
respectively. He completed MBA from University of California at Davis in
March 2006.

Mark Henwood, Chairman of Board
Mr. Henwood serves as the Chairman of the Board of PLEXOS Solutions LLC.
His responsibilities at PLEXOS Solutions include providing the company with
strategic direction utilizing his previous experience pioneering chronological
simulation and stochastic analyses. Mark has been involved in the energy
industry for the last 25 years. He has founded and led four successful energy
businesses. Most recently, Mark was President of Henwood Energy Services, a
180-person firm focusing on providing data, consulting, and software solutions
to the electric energy industry. Mr. Henwood was a director of the
Independent Energy Producers Association (California) for seven years during
the crucial QF growth period. Mark has a MS in Electric Engineering from
the University of California, Davis.

Dr. Glenn Drayton, Managing Director of Energy Exemplar
Glenn is Managing Director of Energy Exemplar, and is the chief architect of
the PLEXOS software. Glenn's experience in power system modeling and
economics spans 15 years. He was involved in the design of the New
Zealand, Australian and Singapore power markets, in particular the
energy-ancillary services cooptimization. Glenn started Drayton Analytics
(now called Energy Exemplar) in 1999 to produce a next-generation power
market model based entirely on optimization, the result being PLEXOS.
Glenn has a Ph.D. in Operations Research, and a B.Sc.(Hons) from the
University of Canterbury, New Zealand.
